On December 14th, I’m invited to play at the anniversary event of labels Hidden Hawaii & Nullpunkt at Globus (Tresor) in Berlin along with label head Felix K., scene veteran Bass Dee as well as label artists DB1 & Logos (who perform together as RVSHES) and Double O, who co-runs Rupture in London.
Hidden Hawaii was founded in the late 90s by Felix K. and crew mates. For 25 years they have been organizing club events and underground raves, launched a legendary music label consortium (which merged into Nullpunkt in the late 2010s) and generally shaped the Drum & Bass sound of the city significantly.
Felix and crew were the first to invite me to play in Berlin back in the mid 2000s. We’ve worked together on several occasions and it was Hidden Hawaii who released my album Kerner back in 2018. I’m deeply happy our paths have crossed and thankful for all the support, thought exchange and friendship over the years.
